Unlike most of our competitors, Handi-men.com lists its contractors, agents and handymen so consumer users of the site can select their own contractors - or they can elect to have the Editors at Handi-Men.Com suggest a contractor for them. Users can determine the reliability of a contractor, agent or service professional through the feedback process. In addition, we provide a program of feedback regarding our site itself. We listen, we care and we act to exceed all expectations in customer service.
  2. Get it done right - and at the right price - We believe the team is stronger than the individual. Because of this we look for relationships between listing members and site users. The larger the project - the more teamwork is required. But when it breaks down, we encourage a good faith effort between the user and the service provider, agent or vendor to work out their issues. When listing members receive three valid and documented negative feedbacks within three years - they are suspended indefinitely from our Directories. At the same time, we look to the user to make every effort to work out their issues before providing negative feedback on a contractor, agent or handyman who does not otherwise deserve it.
  3. Innovate to Win - We review our listing companies continually looking for strengths and weaknesses, the same as we will continually work to upgrade our site to ensure fairness and usability.
  4. Accountability - We stress accountability in our Listing companies and individuals, our users and in ourselves! - Positive feedback is placed immediately in a contractor's record, negative feedback is reviewed and the contractor, agent or service provider is given an opportunity to respond before it is recorded. If no response is received back from the member within ten days, the feedback is automatically recorded. The third negative feedback is immediately recorded resulting in suspension. Should it be reviewed and found to be invalid - only then will the suspension be lifted!
  5. Featured Listings and Editor's Pick Programs. Handi-Men.Com also makes available featured listings which provide top member listing postions in both state and community pages, a variety of valuable services including email paging and messaging and on-line, personalized forms. Users of the site can request an Editor's Pick of a vendor, agent or contractor - having the Handi-Men's editorial staff research and pick the best match for their particular project.
